也 (yě) = also
意思：两个人/两件事情况一样。
Meaning: Same situation for two people or two things.
句式 (Pattern): A ......，B 也 ......
正确例句 / Correct Examples:
1. 我是学生，他是学生。
Wǒ shì xuéshēng, tā yě shì xuéshēng.
I am a student. He is also a student.
2. 我喜欢苹果，妹妹喜欢苹果。
Wǒ xǐhuan píngguǒ, mèimei yě xǐhuan píngguǒ.
I like apples. My sister also likes apples.

我喜欢苹果，也喜欢香蕉。
Why wrong? 同一个人追加事物，不能用“也”！(Same person adding one more thing cannot use "也")

还 (hái) = also (除此以外，再加一样)
意思：同一个人，追加别的东西。
Meaning: Add one more thing (Same person).
